Refund Policy
Refund Policy of Bellarine Veterinary Practice Pty Ltd
General
1.1 BVP offers refunds, repairs and replacements in accordance with Australian Consumer Law and the terms are set out in the Refund Policy.
1.2 Any benefits set out in this policy may apply in addition to the consumer’s rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
1.3 Before making a purchase, please read this policy so that you can understand your rights and what you can expect from us if you are not satisfied with your purchase.
1.4 Once dispensed, medications cannot be returned for refund, however we they can be returned for disposal under the health department guidelines for handling of medicines.
Australian Consumer Law
2.1 Under Australian Consumer Law, our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled to:
- Cancel your service contract with us; and
- A refund for the unused portion or compensation for the reduced value.
You are entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods. If a failure with goods or services does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have a failure rectified in reasonable time. If this is not done you are entitled to a refund for the good/s or service/s. You are entitled to be compensated for any reasonably foreseeable loss or damage from the failure in the good/s or service/s.
2.2 We offer refunds, repairs and replacements in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
2.3 The Australian Consumer Law provides a set of consume guarantees which protects consumers when they buy products or services.
2.4 If the Australian Consumer Law applies, we cannot avoid these guarantees. If there is inconsistency between this policy and Australian Consumer Law, then Australian Consumer Law applies.
2.5 If a product or service you purchased from us has a major failure (as defined by Australian Consumer Law) then you may be entitled to a replacement or refund. You may also be entitled to compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss or damage resulting from the major failure.
2.6 If a product or service which you purchased from us has a failure which does not amount to a major failure (as defined by Australian Consumer Law) then you may be entitled to have the good repaired or replaced.
