Our veterinarians and nurses have worked hard to pursue undergraduate and post graduate qualifications.

Continuing Education is one of our key commitments with staff regularly attending workshops, seminars and conferences to update their knowledge and skills. We also run frequent in-house training and provide a structured approach to developing junior staff.

BVP supports the development of new and recent graduates. As the veterinary team is large, we are able to mentor and supervise less experienced vets to ensure they develop in to excellent practising veterinarians.

With a large team of vets employed we have the luxury of being able to develop special areas of interest, such as surgery and orthopaedics, small animal medicine, dermatology, clinical pathology, reproductive medicine and dentistry. This means that when you attend our clinic you are accessing an effective in-house referral system that ensures we provide your pet with the best veterinary care.

In some cases, we recognize the need to call upon the skills of specialist veterinarians, particularly in the areas of ophthalmology, behaviour and oncology.
