The Bellarine Veterinary Practice was founded in 1977 in premises at 41 Queenscliff Road, Newcomb by David Hopkins and Ewen McMillan, to serve Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsula.

An Ocean Grove branch was opened in 1977 at 114 The Terrace and the Drysdale branch was opened in 1983 at the old National Bank Building on the corner of High Street and Murradoc Road. Our Point Lonsdale branch was opened in 1977 at 103 Bellarine Hwy.

The practice moved to the Animal Hospital at Coppards Road in November 1989 and received A.S.A.V.A. accreditation the following year.

In January 2005 we moved into our purpose built hospital in Drysdale.

In December 2005 we moved to our current premises at Grubb Road in Ocean Grove.

The Bellarine Veterinary Practice was founded and has grown on the basis of offering high quality, caring veterinary services. This is still the prime consideration in all our diverse fields of endeavour.
