BVP is excited to launch its new Doggy Day Play facility - the first of its kind in Geelong. Doggy Day Play is a dogs' day care centre.
Dogs are pack animals and crave companionship and stimulation from both dogs and humans. As life becomes more hectic, Doggy Day Play offers busy dog owners the chance for their best friend to socialize and exercise as they would naturally in the wild with their group.
We find that behavioural problems occur when all this energy is NOT released and lack of physical and mental exercise are primary causes of misbehaviour and the forming of bad habits. Daycare is an outlet which allows dogs to gain important social skills plus increase their confidence with other dogs and humans. Daycare also helps to relieve the common problem of separation anxiety.
At Doggy Day Play we offer outstanding care, attention and stimulation for dogs in a safe, fun and healthy environment. There is a minimum of one carer provided for each ten dogs and our Vets are available at all times. The dogs are off lead during their stay except for rest time. All dogs attending Doggy Day Play need to be assessed for temperament.

HOT WEATHER POLICY
DDP would like to advise all of our clients that our policy for extreme hot weather is to close DDP if the temperature reaches 38oC and over. This is to ensure that our staff and our furry friends are kept as comfortable as possible during the summer season. On days where the temperature unexpectedly exceeds 38oC we may require you to collect your dogs. We do understand that many of our clients may be at work and it may not be possible to collect your dogs immediately, so please make sure that you have a backup plan to cover emergencies during this hot weather.
