Toddler Taming classes are designed for pups between 3-6 months of age and are held at Newcomb and Ocean Grove.   At this stage of maturity it is important to continue social development in a positive way with the main emphasis being on teaching your puppy to be calm and relaxed in varying environments.  

This class is ideal for those that missed Puppy Preschool or as a great follow up class to polish up on basic skills and to continue with further positive socialisation.   We will share with you training methods that can help with some common issues which may include, settling techniques, reliably coming when called and walking on a loose lead.  This class will help give the puppy's owner more confidence in their own ability to train their dog.

What to bring

• Proof of C5 vaccination (if vaccinated elsewhere).
• Your dog on a collar and lead, or harness (NO chain or choker collars permitted).
• Some small treats which your dog loves.

Toddler Taming Positive Policies

• Chain or choker collars are NOT PERMITTED.
• NO physical punishment permitted.
• Dogs MUST be kept on a lead unless instructed otherwise. It’s a good idea to get them used to wearing a collar before the first night.
• Dogs MUST be up to date with vaccinations and worming.
• Bookings are essential and classes MUST be paid for before commencement.
