Dr Belinda Calvert, BVSc (Hons)

Belinda graduated from Melbourne University with Honours.



Her special interests are soft tissue surgery and small animal medicine. Belinda has many years experience in small animal and mixed practice.



Belinda works mostly at Newcomb and Ocean Grove.

Dr Silke Lulofs, BVSc

Dr Silke Lulofs joined the practice at the end of February 2004. Prior to this she worked in mixed practice in Australia and the UK. Silke has a special interest in Small Animal Medicine, Cardiology and Ultrasonography and is currently undertaking further study in Cardiology with the University of Sydney Post-Graduate Foundation. Silke works mainly at Newcomb, Pt. Lonsdale and Ocean Grove.

Dr Alison Moore, BVSc (Hons)

Alison graduated with Honours from Melbourne University in 2002. She worked in a mixed practice in Latrobe Valley before joining BVP in 2005. Alison has focused her attention on surgery more recently, completing a 12 month post graduate course in Small Animal Surgery through Sydney University, and also an AO Foundation orthopaedics course. Alison is continuing her surgical studies to prepare for Membership to the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists.

Alison works mainly at Newcomb, Point Lonsdale and Drysdale.

Dr Wendy Wood, BVSc

Wendy graduated from Melbourne University and has been one of the veterinary team at BVP for years. In fact her daughter, Barbara Wright, is one of the partners! Wendy has special interests and many years of experience in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery. Wendy has completed numerous post-graduate courses and workshops in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery.



Wendy works mostly at Newcomb, Drysdale and Pt. Lonsdale.

Dr Justin Trudgeon, BVSc, MRCVS

Justin graduated from Melbourne University and has been a regular face at BVP, also completing stints of working in the UK. Justin has expertise in all areas of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery. He has recently returned to BVP and mainly works at Drysdale and Newcomb.

Dr Nicola LeBlanc-Smith, BVSc

Nicola graduated from Melbourne University (with Honours) and has a strong interest in all areas of Small Animal Medicine and Surgery. Nicola grew up on the Bellarine and as such appreciates the lifestyle we enjoy here with our pets. Nicola mainly works at Newcomb and Drysdale.

Dr Alicia Kennedy, BSC, BVMS (Hons)

Alicia has returned to BVP after a long stint overseas and interstate. Alicia graduated from Murdoch University with Honours, and has a special interest in Small Animal Medicine and general practice. Alicia is the author of "A Dog in Your Family" (Oxford 1999).



Alicia works mostly at Ocean Grove and Drysdale.

Dr Ange Wellington, BVSc

Ange graduated from Melbourne University and is enjoying working in such a busy and interesting practice. Ange enjoys all areas of Small Animal Medicine and Surgery, and mainly works at Newcomb and Drysdale.
