Access to a network of veterinary specialists
We have access to a wide network of registered veterinary specialists who we will refer to when managing difficult and specialised cases, particularly in the areas of surgery, oncology and ophthalmology. Sometimes we can arrange for patients to be treated by these specialists at our Newcomb Hospital; in other cases we refer our client to the specialist veterinarian’s own practice.
Payment Options
Bellarine Veterinary Practice does not offer accounts. We do have six payment options. These are, cash, cheque, credit card, eftpos, lay-by or Care Credit.
Care Credit allows us to offer our clients two options for which they can apply. The first option is three months interest free with a minimum balance of $300.
The second option offered is 12, 24, 36 or 48 months extended payment plan which incurs interest on any outstanding balance. The minimum that can be applied for with this option is $500.

Applying is quick and easy. Come into any of our clinics, fill in a form and we will apply online on your behalf. OR, click on this Care Credit link to apply online at home yourself. On their site click on the "patients" heading on the right hand side of the page and follow the instructions. Once approved please bring your Care Credit application number in to us so that we can process your claim.
BVP Tails & Whiskers Club
BVP's Tails & Whiskers Club can be joined by any client and membership for one year costs $12.50. All the client's pets will be included for this one annual membership fee.
Membership entitlements include 10% off all retail merchandise including: Advocate, Advantage, Heartguard, Worm Tablets, Leads, Toys, Treats, Shampoos and many other items.
Members are also entitled to 5% discount on all our stocked Pet Foods such as Eukanuba, Advance and Hills Prescription Diets.
Discounts do not include visits to the vet or medications.
