Community Care

Many of the BVP team live on the Bellarine Peninsula and embrace the unique and wonderful lifestyle this region offers. It is not unusual to bump in to us while shopping in your main street or walking your dogs at the beach! This community connection is one of the highlights of working at BVP.

We are committed to supporting our local community and do this in various ways.   We sponsor selected local events, have participated in the United Way Rowing Challenge, speak to local schools about pets and vets and on behalf of the Geelong veterinary community regularly raise funds towards supporting the Geelong Animal Welfare Society.

In 2007 we honoured our 30th Birthday by planting 30 trees along the Newcomb section of the Bellarine Rail Trail with the assistance and support of Friends of the Bellarine Rail Trail.

We are also supporting our global community in different ways.

Alicia Kennedy is involved with the establishment of a global office of The Jane Goodall Institute in Australia.
