On Saturday 8th October, 2011 our BVP Doggy Paddlers took to the Barwon River for the Alcoa Australia Corporate Head of the River. After a month of early morning training sessions we were keen to show what we had learnt and race against the other teams.
After a mishap at the starting line we came last in our first heat of the day, although we redeemed ourselves in the second heat coming a close second and made it to the finals. After getting off to a good start, we rowed the best we ever had, although the other teams proved better on the day.

A huge thank you to our team members - Amy KT, Stacey, Amy O, Jen, John and Amanda. To our coach John Elliott and our sponsors Cenvet, Clifford Hallam, Advance, Norbrook and Brown's Mensland for our uniforms. Also, thank you to our staff and clients for their support in our fundraising efforts (all clinics still have chocolates to sell so your ongoing support in this is greatly appreciated).

Keep your eyes and ears open for fundraising events as we prepare for next years events!
WELL DONE DOGGY PADDLERS!
